The story

A creative, multi-talented life in search of a connecting thread

I am Carola Millenaar Vieregge. For a long time, my life looked like a collection of unrelated chapters: classical pianist, primary school teacher, artist, cultural explorer, mother, spiritual seeker. It was rich and full, but it did not always feel coherent.

The thread I was looking for turned out to be energy. Not in a vague or abstract sense, but as a real, workable force that moves through every domain of life — your work, your home, your relationships, your sense of purpose, and the distance between who you are now and who you are becoming.

Once I found that thread, everything else made sense. And helping other people find their own version of it became the work I was born to do.

The journey

Three continents. One practitioner.

Asia

Years living in Singapore deepened Carola's understanding of Eastern energy traditions, sacred symbols, and the connection between space, culture, and wellbeing. She delivered energy styling workshops for international school teachers at UWCSEA.

South America

Time in South America brought immersion in indigenous wisdom traditions, shamanic approaches to soul retrieval, and ways of understanding the body and its relationship to the land and the ancestors.

Europe

Home base and the place where the threads weave together. Based in The Hague, Netherlands, with a practice that now reaches clients in multiple countries through in-person and remote sessions.

How it unfolded

Early career
Music and education
Classical piano performance and primary school teaching. Learning to hold space for others, to listen, and to communicate beyond words.
The turn
First encounter with energy work
A personal experience with Reiki that changed everything. The sensation of energy moving through the body felt as real and as knowable as music. The study began immediately.
The years abroad
Asia and South America
Living and working across two continents, deepening the practice with exposure to Eastern and indigenous traditions. Training expanded to include sound healing, constellations, and soul work.
The Hague
Full-time practice
The founding of Zilverzout and the development of the Master Your Energy program. Today: 10+ years of practice, 13 modalities, clients across multiple countries, and a book.
